Yes, you can install 2.26.1 manually, but your help would be appreciated if you would install the latest 2.26.4 and try and sign in and see if that fixes it. (I'm relying on the help of people who's tokens have expired, as I can't test this) If sign-in still doesn't work, please can you turn on bbc sounds debug logging and try and sign in then send me your server.log.
