Just tried again - no luck. Switched to the M2P beta and I can update to any of the full releases (8.2 is the last listed)
Cannot install any of the Nightlys - it just says version does not exist although it does seem to download it - it's when it starts the install that it fails. I'll keep trying, and as Michael suggests, post something on the M2P forum.
