I'm having the same problem. My configuration is that I'm running
SlimServer on a SUSE Linux machine. Because of this, I'm using the
method of running the Perl script on the Windows machine periodically
to update iTunes.

I don't have the output to post, but in the output of the script
running on Windows, it shows the cadidates for the songs it found in
the iTunes database. The song that was played is listed as one of the
canidates, yet it fails to match. Looking at the output, I can't see
why it wouldn't match. It then concludes that the song wasn't found
and no update is performed.

On my SUSE box, the iTunes_Update.txt file is created in a Samba share
which I access directly on my Windows machine that has iTunes.

Any ideas? I don't know why this won't work. I'm using a version of
the plugin that I downloaded last week.

Thanks!
