I dont understand why you would want to do that. 99% of my local media is 16/44.1 so its only Qobuz that offers me 24bit. It seems illogical to upsample from 16/44.1 to 24/96 to accommodate. Ive got at my disposal 6 UPnP capable audio devices and at least 3 of them claim gapless capability. None provide it except with Flow and TBH two if the three have Rasperry Pis with pCP attached.
