Delighted to hear that you got it working and even more delighted that you now have an excuse to upgrade! Your timing is perfect -- the new iMacs that came out a month ago look like fantastic machines. I run Inguz on a first-gen MacBook Pro with a 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo CPU. It only uses about 20% of one core, leaving plenty of CPU and RAM to do anything else. I'm not surprised about your G4, as even my 1.8GHz iMac G5 struggles a little with it -- the CPU load is between 45% and 75%. (You can see this by running the Activity Monitor utility and looking for the process name 'mono'). muski P.S. Be aware that on the same day that Apple released the new iMac, they also quietly upgraded the mac Mini to Core 2 Duo processors, with 1.83 and 2.0 GHz models, bigger hard drives and built-in 802.11g wireless networking. I bet this would now be an excellent system for running Slimserver/InguzEQ. -- muski SB3->Bryston BP25DA->Bryston 4B-SST->Watt Puppy 7s Transporter->Headrom Max Balanced Amp->Balanced AKG701s & HD650s ------------------------------------------------------------------------ muski's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26005 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
