Interesting, esp. the part about being able make 96KHz filters. Thanks. I was thinking about the bit depth of the recordings being made with Audacity. My audio interface can be configured to make recordings at 16 or 24 bit-depths. Any difference here? Given that the sweeps are saved as 32-bit float WAVs, doesn't that mean that Audacity has to do some kind of sample rate conversion? From the 'Quality' tab in Preferences there are different ways to do this... What settings do you use?
Probably not in audible difference range here, just interested from a theoretical standpoint... -- muski SB3->Bryston BP25DA->Bryston 4B SST->Wilson Watt Puppy 7 Transporter via XLR->Headroom Max Balanced Headphone Amp->Balanced AKG701s & HD650s ------------------------------------------------------------------------ muski's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38534 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
