I was thinking about the bit depth of the recordings being made with
Audacity.  My audio interface can be configured to make recordings at
16 or 24 bit-depths.  Any difference here?  Given that the sweeps are
saved as 32-bit float WAVs, doesn't that mean that Audacity has to do
some kind of sample rate conversion?  From the 'Quality' tab in
Preferences there are different ways to do this...  What settings do
you use?

Probably not in audible difference range here, just interested from a
theoretical standpoint...
