This post is an urging for other users of Inguz to test their selected correction filter and compare it to the TestConvolution file. I'm just not sure how to interpret the simulated vs. real. I ran test captures using uncorrelated Pink Noise, with the sound captured on TrueRTA. The mic cal files used by TrueRTA and DRC are nearly identical - close enough to be a non-factor for this expreiment. The first pair of curves is the Insane filter, the next pair is Minimal. The white graph is the TestConvolution for both.
I guess the thing that has my head hurting is that I thought RC was supposed to work best in the lower frequencies. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: minimal2.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3379| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- tonyptony ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tonyptony's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3397 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38627 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
