I am having trouble as well. I can't get moose to work on my laptop and am only able to use it via remote desktop connection.
The issue seems to be with finding a player - I get the message "awaiting server response" and it just sits there. I have the scanning configured and working - when I click rescan/update on the scanning tab it goes through the scan no problem. Just can't get a player. The slimserver browser links from the tools menu also work and bring up the default web interface. I have tried both the IP address and the server name on the server tab...same results with both. Any help would be appreciated.
