Only reason is if you want it to run with no-one logged >into your Windows box I think? > That's right - my PC is used by several people, but I always want to be able to use my SB's. I don't want music to stop streaming when someone logs out. I see very little reason NOT to run SV as a service.
I have configured a windows service to run the server code interpretted using srvany. I will always think of SqueezeCenter as SlimServer - a server providing a service for the house, irrespective of the name change ;) _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
