Is anyone else having problems with plugins with the most recent nightly SC7.0 under Mac OS X? I had them working fine under a version of SC7.0 from a couple of weeks ago but now they are broken. They show up in the Extras menu but with no Settings options
I am using 3 plugins: AlienBBC, iTunesUpdate and LazySearch I have downloaded the most recent 7.0 versions. Previously, I put them in user/Library/SlimDevices/Plugins but this folder is not present in the latest versions of SC7.0. I have tried re-creating this folder but the plugins don't work in here anymore. I have also tried putting them in user/Library/Application Support/SqueezeCenter/Plugins but this doesn't work either. The nearest I have found to get something working is to put them inside the preference pane itself at user/Library/PreferencePanes/SqueezeCenter.prefpane/Contents/server/Plugins In this location AlienBBC and LazySearch work just fine, but still no joy with iTunesUpdate Even so, this is not an ideal location as it is over-written each time I upgrade to a new version. In any of the three locations the plugins show up in the Extras menu, but the Settings option is not available when they do not work. Where should I be putting the plugins now? In any case, it would be helpful to know if others have this problem or if it is just me...
