Last week NPR moved over to a Flash based player with their own "NPR media player".
All programming from end Nov 2007 is in the new format. Only old archive progs are in RealAudio/WMA. It looks like NPR want to protect their streams by embedding in Flash. It needs more investigation but it doesn't look like there will be a quick solution.
