I want to use AlienBBC to play .ra files that I have downloaded from the BBC website.
I've got everything set up and working fine (full details below), and I can listen to streams from BBC radio through my Squeezebox. However, when I try to play one of my .ra files, no sound comes out at all, and the Squeezebox (and Slim Server) display the file as "playing" for about 1 minute, and then switch to displaying it as "stopped". I tried using mplayer.exe to play one of my .ra files on the computer from a Windows Command Prompt, and it played successfully, so I'm happy that there's nothing wrong with the .ra file (I usually play them using RealPlayer). Are there any log files I should be checking to find out what's going on? I've followed the steps described in http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33855 and also http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33870&highlight=realmedia to get things set up.
