I just want to say that the time you have spent finding and reporting
bugs and giving me feedback on new features is greatly appreciated.

Regarding the thread in the development forum, I was looking for
someone to take over the main responsibility for the plugins, since
this will lighten the burden on me and let me pursue other interesting
development ideas.

Patches for small changes and bugs corrections will always be
appreciated, but I could probably manage to receive and apply these as
patches without handing over the main responsibility. If I should hand
over the main responsibility I like to do this to someone who also has
the time to implement new major features.

The current code for SQL Playlist goes in the opposite direction
compared to the SqueezeCenter core code. The SqueezeCenter core code
tries to abstract the database and the SQL langauge from the logic
using an object based approch, SQL Playlist tries to take advantage of
the fact that the database supports the SQL language and is built on a
specific structure.

So my personal feeling is that a "smart playlist" implementation in the
SqueezeCenter core will probably not be based on the SQL Playlist code.
I could see the playlist handling of Dynamic Playlist to be moved into
the core, but probably not SQL Playlist. When "smart playlists" are
implemented in SqueezeCenter I have a feeling the developers likes to
invent a new query language that is independent on the database
structure, the main reason is to make it possible to do database
changes without affecting the smart playlist logic.

Maybe I should make a special page when you click on a track that just
shows statistics/ratings of the currently selected track ?

It could show statistics about the track and also make it possible to
view/change the rating and jump to the artist or album of the track.

Showing information about a single track could actually be pretty
useful, it could also show the play history of that track, so you can
see a list of the last times a track was played.
