Ah, I see that does blow up, I wasn't expected add to be used from that menu! I'm not sure that adding to favourites from there would be consistent with normal Squeezebox behaviour though?
In order to add LastFM stations to the system favourites, you'll need to play them first, then add in the normal way. LastFM also has it's own set of favourite stations, that can be edited from the web interface.
