Thanks for the very quick response. I can now access the settings page. However, I still can't make it work as I had expected it to.
Here's what I've done (I run Ubuntu Linux): 1. I've created a script called test.sh, made it executable for the squeezecenter user, and put it in /usr/sbin/scripts. 2. If I go through the SB (with the remote), and select Extras -> Execute Script -> Execute On Open File, I can choose test.sh, and if I press "Play" on the remote, the script is run. 3. I go the settings page on the web interface (under "Advanced"), and choose test.sh for the "On Open" action, and press "Apply". 4. When the next song is opened, I see this in the log: [08-01-08 21:35:45.1475] Plugins::ExecuteScript::Plugin::commandCallbackOpen (269) Execute: No Script Selected And indeed, the script has not been run. I have three questions: 1. Why is the script not run after I have set it in the interface? 2. I can't find out how to set the test.sh as the script to run through the SB interface. Again, pressing the "Play" button runs the script, but if I press "Right", nothing happens, and if I press "Left", I'm taken back one step, but the value remains unset. 3. I am confused by this sentence on the web settings page: "Any individual player settings will override unless left undefined or set to "(server)"" What does it mean?
