I am trying to access my music remotely with Softsqueeze. This is what I have done which isn't working.
I am running Slimserver on my laptop and have been able to access the music at home by attaching via my home IP address xx.xx.xx.xx:9000. I can see all my music folder so I know this part is working. I am not sure how to configure Softsqueeze. What IP address do I put in for the slimserver hostname? Is it the same address I used in slimserver or is it the IP address of my laptop itself? When I put in my home computer's IP address I get an error saying the connection failed. 127.0.0.1 doesn't work either. Also, I assume i need to have slimserver running on my laptop to use softsqueeze.
