I have a custom browse menu that displays information that comes from custom scan (CONCERTVENUE).
The menu works well. I see a list of concert venues. However, the alpha page links (A-Z) don't quite work correctly. I get A-F on page 1 - no problem. On page 2 I see venues starting with letters G-O, but the alpha page links G-K,M-O (i.e. L is not hilighted, but there are items in the list that start with L. On page 3, I see venues P-Z - but the "L" page link is also highlighted. If I click the alpha link "L", it takes me to the last page with L, P-Z highlighted. I believe the problem is to do with the "Articles To Ignore When Sorting" SqueezeCenter setting. I have venues such as " Les Ponts de Cé Open Air Festival". The default "Articles To Ignore When Sorting" includes "Les, Los, Las", etc. It's taking " Les Ponts de Cé Open Air Festival" and sorting this under P, having ignored "Les". For now, I have removed those articles from the ignore preference setting, and am rescanning to see if this fixes the alpha page links. However, I generally do want to ignore "The" and other similar articles when sorting. I think there is a bug here, in that sorting is working nicely, but the page links don't work with items that have ignored articles in them. I haven't noticed this before with SqueezeCenter standard browse methods, although with the standard album and artist lists, I have many items, so perhaps the alpha page links work because it scans another artist/album that begins with a proper L first? Wondering if it is a specific bug to Custom Browse or generic to SqueezeCenter.
