I think it's a great idea, and since SqueezeCenter has been VERY slow for me lately, it takes forever to go back and delete 10 or 20 songs from the playlist.
As far as taking the torch and running with it myself, I'm afraid that I am not a software designer. I am merely a user .. I guess that makes me a software leech of sorts.
