I've tried it in my own setup and it seems to work, but I'm not sure I've completely understand how the caching works so it might be some bugs in that part.
The functionality provided with the patch is that urls like this work: http://localhost:9000/plugins/Biography/index.html?artist=45 http://localhost:9000/plugins/Biography/index.html?track=168 It is also possible to send the same parameter when entering the "Plugins::Biography::Plugin" mode on the SB3/Transporter display. And finally you can specify the same on the CLI commands as: biography get artist:45 biography get track:168 Besides the patch I also provide a zip file. The zip file contains a mixer file for the Custom Browse plugin. If you unzip this in the "Custom Browse/Mixes" directory you will get a mixer icon beside each artist that launches the Biography plugin for the selected artist (the icon is currently a temporary BR icon). The mixer file also provides a Biography link in the "Custom Browse/Artists" menu on the SB3/Transporter when you hold down play for a few seconds to launch a mixer. It would be possible to provide the same mixer functionality directly in the SqueezeCenter menus. If this is something you feel would be interesting, let me know and I'll make a patch for that too.
