I may have done something wrong., or it might be part of the server bug
you mentioned.

I had a large log file, so I emptied it, to make it easier to read.

Then, as you advised, I did 'touch' on the log file, stopped and
restarted the server.

I then played around with the Squeezebox, and the web interface to
SqueezeCenter,

and the log file is remaining empty.

Ah, I think I see what has been happening. All the items logged are set
to Warn or Error. I must have getting the large file previously, because
I had set one item to Debug, and somewhere along the line this must have
got reset to Warn.
