1. Alien should be a folder in the directory ending with SqueezeCenter/server/Plugins and not SqueezeCenter/server/Slim/Plugin
2. Did you shutdown and restart SqueezeCenter ? 3. I'm a bit worried that there may be some cached information after having has Alien in one directory and then moved to another if you only deleted Alien and not SC. I'm not sure but it might be worth deleting the file plugin-data.yaml.
