Hi bpa, thanks for the reply It make sense that it is a permissions issue and I was logged in as a Windows Administrator when I ran the install. So I went back and looked at the folder properties and they were set as "read only" which considering I can write files to those folders a little strange.
I removed the read only setting and AlienBBC loaded correctly and I didn't get the error this time.
