The WD MyBook seems to only have an ARMv5 processor at 200MHz and 32MB of ram. That's just too little to run the latest version of SC. You might be able to run Slimserver 6.3 on this but nothing newer. However if you want to use the new Squeezebox Duet you need SC 7.0. My advice: run SC on your PC and use the MyBook as storage only. Connect the PC to your router via ethernet, your current network setup calls for trouble if you run SC on the computer because of the three wireless hops the data has to take from the storage to the SB (MyBook - PC - router - SB).
