That would be great! I suppose I could submit the more difficult way as an enhancement request in bugzilla. I would find it important that it could still work with your plugin as I've noticed yours only submits to Last.FM at the end of a track instead of immediately at the beginning like the default plugin does (meaning skipped tracks would be incorrectly listed on Last.FM..).
