I just bought the duet also and installed the 2.0 XM plug in. After some fiddling it does show up on my controller, but only if I ad XM stations to my favorites or playlists. It even displays "XM" logo on the controller. I'm not sure what I might have done different, but I'd be glad to retrace my steps if anyone wants.
Right now I'm at work and would have to do it when I get home.
