exile, thanks for the update. Yep, as with most of my plugins, PlayLog's default behavior is to do nothing without the user deciding how it should act.

I'm not sure if there's a clean way to do that (to specify a target for a link on the main page) or not. Hmm. I just uploaded 7a17, which adds a web settings page (finally, Duet users can make PlayLog do something) and a UI for Squeezebox3, Transporter, and other players with a display. In addition to logging (logging == writing data to an XML file that stays around forever), PlayLog now keeps track of the last 50 (by default; this is configurable) tracks played per-player. With the IR remote, you can browse the list of songs played. This per-player track history persists across SC7 reboots. Each song is listed with the rough amount of time passed (in minutes, hour:min, or day:hour:min) since that track started playing. By pressing the Right Arrow button while looking at a specific song, you can have PlayLog record info about that track to the persistent XML log file. So you can now log info about a track well after it's finished playing. Hmm, I just realized there's probably a small bug -- I think it logs the track info to the current month's XML log instead of writing it to the log for the month in which the track was played. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver FuzzyTime PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44582 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
