I've configured SuperDateTime to display current time and temperature when in standby mode. For this purpose, I've found the attached font easier to read from moderate distances than the largest fonts provided with Squeezecenter. You'll need to unzip the file, place it in your server/graphics folder, and restart Squeezecenter.
