I was not a user of SqueezeNetwork previously, so was on unfamiliar ground when I had to select that from my SqueezeBox menu to get a PIN to complete the setup as now required by the administrative web page (http://<my-server>:9000).
It appears that a by-product of that menu selection was that my player (client) was connected to SqueezeNetwork *instead of* my server. Hence, the server had no client object when it was trying to apply the updated configuration for the SuperDateTime PlugIn. My first clue was when I clicked on the "Players" tab, and it said there was no player. I went to the squeezebox menu and managed to find "connect to SqueezeCenter server" (or something like that, quoting from memory) which also did a disconnect from SqueezeNetwork, and then the "Players" tab had an entry, and my subsequent attempt to configure the setup for SuperDateTime worked. -- RedSox ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RedSox's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
