- the shutdown script was missing, leaving the .pid file behind when FreeNAS was stopped. This file prevented SC from starting automatically at boot time - I'm now using file paths to standard commands such as cp and mv which are used to move/rename from squeezecenter-cpan (whatever) to squeezecenter.
