No. After a time change both the creation and modification times will be reported by the OS as having changed. http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44626 I'd expect that using a script like this could play havoc with backups. Backup software generally compares file modification times, so if you change all your modification times to same as the creation time then your backup software will want to backup all the files.
