Not needed. You can do it unconditionally. Other skins simply don't use that hash. Also, people who use old versions of iPeng (prior to 0.4 it was not a plugin but a skin) could use it then as well, albeit only from the main menu (the NowPlaying thing is a 0.4 feature)
