Are you really talking about the sort order of the GROUPING level or are you talking about the order that the tracks are played when you hit an item on the GROUPING level ? If you are really talking about the sort order of the GROUPING level it feels a bit strange that you want this sorted by track number. Can't there be several tracks with different track numbers under a GROUPING item ? Do you want it to be sorted by maximum track number of the tracks below it or what ? Assuming the problem is when you hit play, the default sort order of the bottom tracks level should be "album,disc,tracknum". Could the fact that the tracks are sorted by album first be causing the problem ?
