I had a play at doing the work to merge these 2 at the weekend with
mixed success.

I got it so that DynamicPlaylist was registering custom playlists with
ExtendedAlarm. I could then select these in the settings page and that
all worked ok (found one bug which I can forward to you if you want).
At Alarm trigger the box woke up and called back into DynamicPlaylist
and seemed to be all well.

The problem was that the playlist didn't actually *do* anything. I
could see it load it, and from the debug that worked successfully, but
it seemed to freeze rather than begin playing. I tried a few simple
workarounds like adding in a regular play command after the callback
had been called, but to no avail. I can confirm that I could play the
playlists "normally" so it's not a configuration issue.
I'm guessing I've done something fairly silly, as I'm a relative newbie
at this - just wondering if anyone had any tips. Seems like it's close
enough now it'd be really handy to get it finished off! Does the alarm
start the box in a "mode" or something which prohibits another plugin
beginning playing?
