As I stated before - there is no change in the application which takes audio from PC so there has been no change in the how audio is collected from PC. WAV and Flac are equivalent in quality - using MP3 is the only way for SC to degrade the sound.
1. Check you are not transcoding to MP3 (if necessary use logging with player.source to INFO ) - perhaps you have enabled bit rate limiting ? 2.
