OK, checked this.
The problem is as follows:
- DP starts a playlist by calling the "status.html" page with the
relevant parameters to initiate the playlist.
- Now whenever you browse something else in Mobile Safari and the cache
gets purged the page is reloaded upon return to iPeng
- This starts the command handed over as a parameter again, so the
playist is newly initiated.
Another issue arising from this is that iPeng on NowPlaying will revert
to it's original player setting, even if that was changed on the
NowPlaying plugin screen.

There are two ways around this:
- Erland could change his plugin so that it uses an Ajax command first
to start the playlist before calling the NowPlaying screen, then
without parameters. This is what most of my "native" pages do and which
also has the side effect of being much faster than the current solution
- I could add a redirection into status.html that eliminates the
parameters after they were used once. The drawback is that this would
drive up load time for NowPlaying

I think I will try to change the whole page scheme on one of the next
iPeng versions (don't know if I already fit this into the July 11th
version) which would also eliminate the issue and hopefully keep
performance impact smaller.
