The following SQL file is executed after each rescan: server/SQL/mysql/schema_optimize.sql
Would it be good enough to put the information in there ? If not, it should be pretty easy to make a plugin that does this, you will just have to subscribe for the "rescan done" event in your plugin and execute the SQL statement. The major problem as I see it is that SqueezeCenter automatically re-reads the data from the music file tags in some situations when browsing/playing music in your library.
