Problem solved... Previously, I had taken the logical step in following the on-line instructions for installing AlienBBC for Mac OSX users that utilised SqueezeCentre 7.01.
However, in frustration, I then illogically followed the previous instructions for installing AlienBBC for Mac OSX that utilised SqueezeCentre 6.5.
