So if you for example like to have all the standard SqueezeCenter browse menus and on the same level as these you like a "Libraries" menu that has a sub menu for each library, you would put "Libraries" in the "Menu Group" parameter. You will need to restart SqueezeCenter to make the changes related to Menu Group take effect in all places. Cerb;318574 Wrote: > > 2. If you really want an artist menu but just don't want the extra "Various Artists" level, you can: 1. Goto "SqueezeCenter Settings/Plugins/Custom Browse/Manage menus" 2. Select the Artists browse menu that belongs to the particular library 3. Uncheck the "Various Artists section" option. This will result in that all artists is displayed directly in the Artists menu in this library without the extra "Various Artists" menu level. The other library will still have the normal "Various Artists" section. Cerb;318574 Wrote: > > 3. The albums in the "Artists" menu should be sorted by descending year by default, isn't this the case ? when the albums are sorted by year, the year should be displayed in the list, isn't this the case ? 1. Goto "SqueezeCenter Settings/Plugins/Custom Browse/Manage menus" 2. Select the Artists browse menu that belongs to the particular library 3. The "Default album sorting" parameter controls the default sorting order, should be "by year" by default. Cerb;318574 Wrote: > > 4. Goto "SqueezeCenter Settings/Plugins/Custom Browse/Manage menus" 2. Select to create a new menu and select meny type "Random Albums" 3. The important parameters are: - Menu group = The name of your library, if you have set a "Menu Group" on the library you will also need to include that, for example "Libraries/Standard Artists" where "Libraries" is the menu group and "Standard Artists" is the library name - Library = The library you want the menu to be limited to You will have to create two of these, one for each library. If you already have a global "Random Albums" menu that works as you like, you can also just goto "Extras/Multi Library" and edit the library and check the menu in the "Included Custom Browse menus" section. Please note that the current version of the "Random Album" menu seems to contain a bug which result in that it won't work correctly after you have set the "Library" parameter. This will be fixed in next Custom Browse release, but if you don't want to wait, you can use the download links in the Custom Browse web interface and download it already now.
