Hi,

finally i had the time to migrate my linux based file server running SC
from iso-8859-1 to utf-8, which was much less pain than previously
suspected (suberb utility: convmv for file/directory conversion).

This had an unexpected side effect: MusicIP 1.8 (headless & genpuid) is
finally able to see ALL my tracks, including those with extended
characters! They even show up within SC with the M-mixer-icon :-)

Unfortunately i was unable to create new mixes from these tracks
- the path information is stored correctly (utf + url encoded) in the
db
- when creating a new mix decoding of the path/file name failed (got
some invalid character)

Fortunately someone (Dan Sully?) was that good and documented this in
the code as bug 1938 with "We might need to do the same on Linux" - at
least i needed it on my utf8-only linux installation.

I have attached a patch to this ancient bug (but left it
closed)...Don't know if it would have been better to open a new one or
not...

@Michael: What do you think? Do you know if this change has any adverse
effects (on other systems, i.e. non-UTF-8)?
