The custom-convert.conf file is located on your DS-107. I don't have a SSODS system so I cannot give the full path.
To edit the custom-convert.conf file - I think you should logon onto DS-107, change to the directory which has the custom-convert.conf file and then edit it using an editor something like vim. > > Concerning your performance comment (see point 3) i'm i bit frustrated > because i buy this SD107+ to remplace my LACIE HOME EDITION NAS used > before to avoid having to run the squeezecenter on a pc....and seams > that's not working as expected...really shame and not clearly > documented...... > I may be wrong about performance but I prefer to warning people. Post a query on the forum to get real user experience. The performance will depends on a lot of factors such as how many players you use, the user interface (e.g. WebUI, SBC, SB/ remote), functionality (database searches), file formats etc. SC is not officially supported on NAS devices (except Netgear) and any documentation depends on voluntary work. With NAS devices there are restrictions and limitations. With SSODS/SSOTS flipflip has done an excellent job creating an easy to install packages for a lot of platforms and a comprehensive web site. However installing SC on unsupported platforms will require a higher technical knowledge and so the documentation is usually more technical and can be very cryptic for non-technical user. > > Do you know what could be a good alternative (in them of music > extention compatibility) for my needs using the SD107+ with the SSOD > (to avoid any addit pc running), means : > - Be able to listen my music from the SB3 with a good/very good quality > and ensuring that the files could also be undertand/syncronised by Itune > to let me syncronise/play song on my ipod touch. > I can't really help. High quality usually means lossless - in which for iPod ALAC (AAC lossless) is the only choice. If you are using lossy compression then why not use MP3. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50323 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
