Thanks! I have been playing with the xm streams and I am able to see what the problem is:
XM uses a 'primary' and a 'secondary' server. For some reason, Flight 26 fails most of the time on the primary server when trying to pull the high bit rate stream. The normal XM online player knows to fall back to the secondary server, but the squeezecenter plugin does not. To get the secondary server, you need to get the stream information which appears to always be from h t t p : //player.xmradio.com/hotstream/metafile.jsp?ch=26&speed=high&prov=akamai&fail=0&type=secondary But to do that, you need a new set of cookie data that you obtain from the from the previous ASX transaction when you tred to get the Primary stream. I can get this to work with a bash script, but I know nothing about perl and am having trouble making heads or tails of the code. -- jspamc ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jspamc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50964 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
