I suppose it could be done with a screensaver on the Controller, which would only make sense when the Controller is in the charger as that's the only time the screensaver kicks in and stays on. Not sure how much info you could get on the Controller display, maybe just a big colourful image to represent the current weather... maybe not much point adding lots of text for precipitation, min/max/current temp etc. as you'd have to go up close to read it.
