okay, i found out that tracks_persistent was the only table still at: CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci
so i adjusted the charset to the same as track_history, track_statistics and tracks with: alter table tracks_persistent convert to character set utf8; (i hope this doesn't break anything else) Now SC starts just fine.
