A number of different solutions exist: 1. Change to a decent operating system that is able to unzip zip-files that follows the zip standard 2. Use a unzip tool not provided by Microsoft to unzip the zip files 3. Install the hotfix provided by Microsoft that solves the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/KB/952249
