The easiest way to do the path filtering is to install the Multi Library plugin and create a new library where you have specified that it only should contain music from the directory "M:\Albums\Artists". Uncheck all checkboxes in the "Included internal menus" when creating the library, this will will avoid an unnecessary performance hit for menus you don't want anyway. In this case the configuration is same as the "Albums Artists" menu but you just don't specify the "Library" parameter.
