Make sure you have installed it correctly, remove the previous version
by deleting the TrackStat directory and then unzip the new version.
Restart SqueezeCenter after the installation.

If that doesn't help, there has to be something special with the Suse
installation. Unfortunately I don't have Suse installed so I can't
verify it myself.

If you are able to start SqueezeCenter manually and start it with the
--d_startup flag you might get more messages in the log, for example
as:
slimserver.pl --d_startup
squeezecenter-server --d_startup

(I'm not sure what the perl main script is called exactly in the rpm
installation)
