AlienBBC 2.01 for 7.1 works on 7.2 as well. Make sure you are using "2.01 for 7.1" and not "2.01 for 7.0"
There is an iPlayer Addon (v5 see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=328690&postcount=133 ) which is needed to access the iPlayer menus.
