SC accepts more song formats than MusicIP, so SC could have more songs in its library. Not all songs in MusicIP are mixable (some cannot be analysed, eg. because they are shorter than 10 seconds). There's a whole bunch of other reasons though. 1. Are SC and MIP both pointing at the same source path? 2. Have you got any files that have the whole album defined by a cue sheet? SC will count each song in the cue sheet, whereas MIP will see the single file?
