In the next version of Custom Browse there will be a "Only never played songs" option available in the menu types "Filtered Artists", "Filtered Albums", Filtered Songs" and "Filtered Genres" that makes this possible. The updated menu types are available through the download links in the Custom Browse web interface already now.
