If you nagigate there while nothing is playing it is supposed to choose a random song from your library and dynamically start seeding songs based on the selected random song. Could you look in the SqueezeCenter log to see if you get any more error when you get the failed message ? If you don't you could also temporarily enable debug logging on plugin.dynamicplaylist and plugin.sugarcube and post the log when you get the failed message.
